Some Pretty Snazzy Stamps

So I found these gems at the post office last week. I have been a little bit bored by the domestic stamps in the last year-ish. For about 9 months the only ones I could find were these 'tourist destination' ones - I was seriously sick of the Fremantle fishing boat harbour and Luna Park. But these ones are brilliant!! Though it appears I have had an a-typical 90's upbringing seeing as not a single one of my Long weekends ever included snow.





I also recently became aware of the fan-flipping-tastic Finnish "funny vegetable stamps" I seriously wish somebody would send me one!! how cool is the idea of design yourself samps - every one would be different and special!

The 1st package that has ever been damaged in the post...
but what a polite message from Canada Post! Pretty sure you wouldn't get that from Australia Post! I don't think anything was lost, though I probably wouldn't notice from all the stuff jammed in there! It just kept coming and coming as I unpacked it with glee all over my face! I seriously felt like it was my birthday! So thank you Zoe It's AMAZING!

Friday 19/Mar

Today I got a letter from my Nanna in response to the one I sent her a few weeks ago. She totally thinks that my idea is pretty cool, and told me all about the weather they have been having out at the farm... lucky buggers are thinking about cutting firewood already, and I still need a fan to get to sleep (granted that is so that I don't over-heat under my quilt but...). AND! how wicked-cool is the skink stamp!?
