Today I made my Max hat for PROSH. It was lots of fun to sew something completely frivolous! And it's so snuggly I want to make more of them to wear at home. A big thank you to Jessyratfink from Instructables for the pattern.

Today I bought 3m of black satin bias binding for my sewing class dress. hopefully I don't have to use it all as bias binding always does my head in!

Today I sewed a ribbon belt for my friend Fish to wear with her favourite black dress to karaoke tomorrow night, It was a little daunting as I was not 100% sure of the size, but I think it turned out quite well.

Wednesday 3/Mar

Today I FINALLY got the toile for my dress to come together! It seems to have taken me a lot more time to decide what I want to do rather than actually doing it!

Now I just have to sew it for real!

Wednesday, 17/Feb

Today I spent sewing ALL DAY! My friends came over with a few things that they wanted fixed, and then I went to my 2nd of 6 design and drape class in the evening which is beginning to get very exciting.

Today I began sewing a dress for my sister to wear for her exhibition opening on Friday night, this was my birthday present to her, and also the first time I was using 100%silk and fabric I had bought from India... the pressure was on!
